Our names are Gerrit and Anna De Raadt. After we married in January of 2017, and Anna moved from the Midwest to join Gerrit in California. Shortly after marrying, Anna took up spinning with her mother-in-law and later knitting and weaving. She also convinced Gerrit to get some sheep in the process!

Both Gerrit and Anna grew up on dairy farms, and Gerrit has worked with his parents on their family dairy since graduating college. Gerrit's parents decided to sell the cows and get out the dairy business in 2024. With our expanding flock of sheep and no longer milking cows, we decided to open a fiber mill in the old milk barn.
